Birds are the most common larger animals I encounter. In my photos I am interested in going beyond the basic birdwatchers' identification shot. Four additional aspect interest me. The bird's beauty. How does it fit into it's habitat? How does it fly, watch, explore, catch and so on? And finally, an empathy with them as feeling, thinking beings with distinct characters.
